East Coast Compounding & Pharmacy is a 503A compounding pharmacy. Under Section 503A of the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act, a 503A pharmacy compounds medications for individual patients, based on a valid prescription from a licensed prescriber.
Compounded medications are prepared at the direction of your healthcare provider and are not approved by the FDA.
Every medication we compound is prepared for the patient named on the prescription.
503A pharmacies are licensed by state boards of pharmacy. We are licensed in many states across the US.
We compound in a USP <795>, <797>, and <800> compliant lab.
503B outsourcing facilities register with the FDA and can compound in larger batches for office use. We compound only for individual patients.

We are licensed in several states across the US and fill prescriptions for patients and providers in each of them. Every one is compounded at our pharmacy and lab at 1617 Atlantic Blvd. in the San Marco neighborhood of Jacksonville, and patients nearby are welcome to visit us in person.

We have built a state-of-the-art, USP <795>, <797>, and <800> compliant laboratory in a revitalized 1900s San Marco building in Jacksonville, Florida. Our facility is designed to meet the highest standards of safety and quality in pharmaceutical compounding. Because compounded medications are custom-made from scratch to meet your specific prescription requirements, they require dedicated time for preparation and quality assurance. Typically, prescription compounds take up to 24 to 48 hours to formulate in our laboratory. Once your medication is prepared and has passed our rigorous quality checks, shipping times will depend on your location and the delivery method selected. We strive to process and ship all orders as efficiently as possible to ensure you receive your vital medications without unnecessary delays.
East Coast Compounding & Pharmacy is licensed in many states across the US, and we ship compounded medications to patients in each of them. Whether we can ship to a state depends on that state's board of pharmacy licensing rules, and we are working to add more states. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved. Because compounded drugs are custom-made on a case-by-case basis to meet the unique needs of individual patients, they do not go through the FDA's standard drug approval process, which evaluates the safety, effectiveness, and quality of mass-produced, commercially available drugs. However, as a reputable 503A compounding pharmacy, East Coast Compounding & Pharmacy strictly adheres to the regulatory standards set forth by the FDA and the United States Pharmacopeia (USP). We use only high-quality, FDA-registered active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and operate within a state-of-the-art, USP-compliant laboratory to ensure the safety and integrity of every medication we prepare.
